If you are tired of sinking walk on the Word.

Crossing Over…

If the storms don’t come how do we know we CAN cross over to the other side. How will we learn we can walk on the water ( which is the Word). The only thing that will sink us is ourselves.

If God

If God can get it through you He will get it to you.

Provision comes with the Vision

The Word of the Lord for today is “if Jesus don’t like it, I won’t do it”.
And Provision comes with the Vision. If God called you to it He will provide you through it. Amen

The Eroding of the Faith

I wonder if God still requires righteousness out of His people? When the church becomes so worldly and the world becomes so churchy we are in trouble:

” Liberty”

Galatians 2:4 (KJV)   And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

1.  Take a stand;   Galatians 5:1 (KJV)   Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
a. 1 Cor. 15:58  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
b. 1 Cor. 16:13   Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

     c. Heb. 3:6   But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

2. Liberty; Psalms 51:12   Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

     a. Isa. 61:1   The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

     b. Romans 6:14   For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

     c. Romans 6:18  Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

     d. 2 Cor. 3:17   Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

3. Unawares; Jude 1:4    For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

     a. 2 Tim. 3:6   For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

     b. 1 John 4:1  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

 4.   [now being made free from sin] Now, in the present life people are free from sin in Christ (2Cor. 5:17-18). 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
a.  unawares: smuggled in; unawares brought in

DEVOTION is neither private nor public prayer; but prayers, whether private or public, are particular parts or instances of devotion. Devotion signifies a life given, or devoted, to God.
He, therefore, is the devout man, who lives no longer to his own will, or the way and spirit of the world, but to the sole will of God, who considers God in everything, who serves God in everything, who makes all the parts of his common life parts of piety, by doing everything in the Name of God, and under such rules as are conformable to His glory.

A Serious Call to a Devout and Holy Life.
