Colors for the Cross 2008

On Saturday, Aug. 30, our group loaded up and headed to Dothan for "Colors for the Cross 2008". It's held in the Peanut Festival Fairgrounds, with vendors, a bike show and bike games.

We left out early to eat breakfast at Mom's Kitchen in Hartford- awesome huge biscuits and gravy! Others had waffles, bacon, eggs and pancakes. I think everyone enjoyed themselves.

Sarah & Billy and Steve B entered their bikes in the bike show, and we all visited the vendors. While waiting on the bike show judging, we left to visit some other bike shops, including American Classic Cycles where we saw some great custom bikes - one favorite was green with skulls entwined in the flames. We also visited the Harley Davidson shop and the Honda/Yamaha shop - always something new to see.

Here are some snapshots of the day - as always, clicking on the small picture will show a larger version. More pictures will be posted later.
